Who we are
Barber Lounge is a modern barbershop in the Seahorse building at Nansledan, Newquay, Cornwall. This website is designed and hosted by Saltwater Digital, who operate it, including its analytics, on our behalf.
This site and your information
This site does not have user accounts and does not ask you to fill in forms. Browsing it sends the usual technical requests any website needs (your browser asking our host, Vercel, for pages and images). We collect nothing about you beyond the optional analytics described below, and only if you say yes.
When you contact us or book
The contact details on this site are direct: tapping the phone number calls us, and your call comes straight to us and is not stored by this website. Booking is handled by Booksy, a separate booking service, through the "Book on Booksy" buttons. Anything you enter to make a booking is processed by Booksy under their own privacy policy, not by this website.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages people look at, how they found us, and what kind of device they visit on. It sets nothing until you accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, or never answer, no analytics run and no request is even sent to Google.

What we see: pages viewed, where visitors came from, device and browser type, and approximate location at the town level (Google Analytics does not store your IP address). What we never collect: names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any advertising profile. Advertising features are switched off. Analytics data is kept for 14 months, then deleted.

You can change your mind at any time. This button clears your saved choice, and the banner will ask again:

How long we keep things
Analytics data: 14 months, automatically deleted by Google Analytics. Your consent choice: stored in your own browser until you clear it or change it above. We keep nothing else through this website.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you have the right to ask what data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to withdraw consent at any time (the button above). If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
